What you need to host
An open heart and desire to share the best of our culture and area.
A bed. The student can share a room.
Regular meals that you eat. Packed lunch for some outings.
Transportation to activities - carpooling is common
You and/or your children can join us for any or all trips and activities!!!
All student costs for trips and activities are covered by the program. You and your family can enjoy our group rates and the bus provided (for trips).
How to become a host parent
Complete an application.
We will conduct a background check.
Your local coordinator, Elisa Cuapio, will arrange a home visit to meet your family and see where the student will live.
You and your family can read through the profiles and choose a student who you think will be a good fit for your family.
There will be an orientation in early June to get more details and meet the other host families.
